The village is overlooked by the castle of the divine <b>Marquis de Sade<\/b>. It became property of the famous fashion designer Pierre Cardin who also produces a festival of music and theater. A picturesque villages of Luberon like Gordes, Bonnieux,&#8230;<\/p>\n<h4>Opp\u00e8de le Vieux, M\u00e9nerbes, Lourmarin, Lauris, Bonnieux, Ansouis, Gordes, Roussillon,&#8230;<\/h4>\n<p>These are the more popular, but all the others are also interesting.<\/p>\n<p>The sweetness and light characterize the <b>Luberon<\/b>, country of castles but also hilltop villages, colorful with ocher cliffs, lavender fields, sunflowers, cherry trees and vineyards, high in flavor with its wines and candied fruits.<\/p>\n<p>The villages of Luberon like Lacoste,Gordes, Bonnieux are perched in the hillside or huddled around a rocky outcrop and spread out in the sun cascades their roofs. Narrow streets lined with artisan workshops, shady squares, fountains, magnificent views over the plains and vineyards. In the surrounding countries you can see dry-stone huts called <i>bories<\/i>. Here there are in the air something magical, like a taste of heaven.
